My name is Samantha Heath and I grew up in central Maine. I went to Erskine Academy for high school. Southern Maine has become my new home and I would love to continue living here and work here eventually as an RN.

I have a cat named Baxter and I love fostering animals. I also love hiking and being outside. My favorite place to hike is Baxter State Park in Maine and I hiked Mount Katahdin.

I am a nursing student at the University of New England and I chose that major because I have always been interested in medical biology and I love caring for people. I am interested in perioperative nursing as the aspect of surgery has always intrigued me. My expected graduation date is spring of 2023. I have spent my years of college learning from my peers and clinicals and my love for nursing has grown each year. I have learned so much about patient centered care, therapeutic communication, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
