I liked that we did a self review before the peer review because it helped me really look at my work and see it broken up in sections of the different topics that I wrote about. I have never really done a self review before and just relied on the comments of my peer reviews. Looking back on my work helped me have a better outlook on my peer review comments because I was already thinking of changing some of the same things that my peers suggested to me.
With the peer reviewing I liked having the structure to leave comments because sometimes I struggle with finding things to comment on. The structure for peer reviewing served as a good reminder on the things we are supposed to be commenting about.
